A day after India's bloody face-off with the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) in the Galwan Valley in eastern Ladakh on Monday night, China has come out to say that it has always "maintained sovereignty over the Galwan Valley region". Senior Colonel Zhang Shuili, the spokesperson for the Western Theater Command of the PLA, made a statement late on Tuesday over the clashes along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in the Galwan Valley area, Xinhua reported. The sovereignty over the Galwan Valley area has always belonged to China, Shuili said in the statement. "We demand the Indian military strictly restrains its frontline troops, immediately stops all infringing and provocative actions, work with the Chinese side towards the same goal, and return to the right track of resolving differences through dialogue and talks," Shuili said in the statement. Tensions have been running high on the border since reports of a scuffle between the soldiers at Pangong Tso (eastern Ladakh) and Naku la (in Sikkim) a few months back. Today on Eastern Ladakh Despite having talks with either sides, China and India had an attack  at GAlwan Valley yesterday night i.e 15/06/20 .   Both the armies have since deployed a large number of soldiers and heavy military equipment along the LAC. Yes ! I stand  with the above statement. With an aim to acquire USD five trillion economy status , India has to consistently achieve a minimum of  9%+ growth rate for next five years. On the other hand economic indicators reflect that the GDP growth of India has gone down to almost five percent in the first quarter of financial year 2019-20 .
