Tollywood celebrities are joining the protest against the sanctions of uranium digging in reserved Nallamala forests. They are raising their voice against the government’s plan to mine uranium in the forest near Amrabad in Telangana.  After Sekhar Kammula and Pawan Kalyan, actor Vijay Devarakonda also joined the chorus to raise his voice against the plan. Actor-politician and JanaSena Party (JSP) President Pawan Kalyan on Monday joined hands with senior Congress leader V Hanumantha Rao in expressing his concern over Centre’s plan to mine uranium in Telangana's Nallamala forest. Stating that it would badly damage biodiversity apart from affecting the environment, Pawan Kalyan worried that the uranium mining would generate radon, which was a product of the radioactive decay of uranium.
